Welcome to the BLOODLUST full-custom KC-02 Underlever DMR/Sniper build from RogueWorx!

This is one of our extreme Tier 5+ builds, if you want to refer to our Tier List, as several of the components have been custom-made or specially imported, making this build truly unique. It has taken more than a year to gather and prepare all the components that have gone into this project. Personally assembled and tuned by Arron, the master engineer behind all RogueWorx products.

Firstly, the stock is a rare $500 Bell & Carlson "Oddyssey" target stock, with 3 points of adjustment on the butt and cheek riser, in their Olive Green and Black Spiderweb pattern. This stock is impossible to find in the UK, being specially imported from the USA.

Next, you can see all the glorious RogueWorx hardware on this gun is in our stunning red-on-black Vampire splatter anodising pattern, hence the name BLOODLUST. This pattern contrasts brilliantly with the muted green stock colour, making the red really POP.

Featuring a 380mm straight-fluted outer barrel from our Multi-Barrel range, the next most prominent feature on this build is the large Action Army HIVE suppressor, which is foam-filled for maximum stealth, and has a custom muted Tornado Red paint job on the inner part of the suppressor to match the rest of the red and black hardware, without being too bright as it's covered by the distinctive outer mesh of the HIVE suppressor. This suppressor can of course be removed to reveal the durable 14mm CCW stainless steel threads common to all our MB barrels, so you can fit the standard MB thread cap, or your own choice of muzzle accessory.

This custom build has been assembled from a box-fresh KJW KC-02 V1, you will receive all the original parts that we removed to swap out for superior RW parts, including the complete original carbine stock, barrel and bolt group.

This gun is supplied as a lever-action (with a paracord weave wrap on it) for use in the UK sniper category of airsoft at a muzzle energy of 2.3j, or 350fps with a 0.4g BB. This power is adjustable by the power screws on the SSB.

We also include all the parts required to switch the gun over to semi-auto firing for use in the 1.5j DMR category at 285fps with a 0.4g BB. This includes a Morpheus SA80 charging handle and a complete CNC bolt carrier, piston, nozzle and NPAS for further power adjustment if you like. And some rubber bungs to plug the pivot holes where the underlever is removed to stop dirt getting into the trigger mech. Swapping from lever-action to semi-auto takes about 5 minutes and requires only a couple of tools, as described on the underlever kit page linked above.

Receiver group

The receiver of this build has had it's rear tang removed, ground flat, then resprayed satin black to allow it to fit into real 10/22 stocks, such as the B&C Oddyssey in this case.

Another important and tricky custom job on this receiver is all the rail screw holes and the main body screw hole have had V-coil steel threads inserts fitted, which makes the whole assembly of the rifle much stronger as screws can be properly tightened without stripping the threads.

Fitted with a hardened steel bolt stop, silent buffer pin and prototype steel V-block barrel clamp, this receiver is fully prepared to be the core of a top-end build like this.

Stock

What we loved about the Bell & Carlson stock is the long-range target range focus of it. The range of adjustability on the stock means you can get your shoulder and cheek position perfectly aligned.

The B&C stock also features a sliding T-slot front rail system which is absolutely a competition-shooter style feature as it allows infinite adjustment of mounted accessories by sliding the rail sections to the perfect position instead of being limited to fixed rail slots. We're including 2 sections of T-slot Picatinny rail which can be moved anywhere you like on the lower rail. They'll have a couple of olive Magpul rail covers fitted for comfort on delivery. The stock is chunky and extremely sturdy. It also features front and rear sling swivels.

Hop and Barrel group

Featuring a made-to-order Edgi 380mm lapped-steel 6.03 inner barrel, fitted into our exquisite CNC'd straight-flute outer Vampire barrel, then attached using a Master Precision CNC rail and steel V-block clamp, the barrel group of this build is perfect. Completely stabilised by 3 internal MB O-ring barrel spacers and paired with a Flamingo 50-degree hop rubber from Sniper Mechanic, this gun will be capable of miniscule adjustements to it's hop setting in the 5-micron per click range, and be able to confidently land shots up to 80m and beyond (this will be tested in our field trials at 40m and 80m).

Trigger group

Painstakingly assembled and tuned by Arron in his man-cave in the dead of night, a RogueWorx signature trigger mech is as good as it gets for the KC-02. Trigger guard drilled to provide access to the trigger travel screw, key components polished, everything washed and oven-dried, all perfectly lubricated with Teflon grease for glassy-smooth operation and a crisp reset. These triggers usually have a pull weight around 4lbs though they often bed-in to 2lbs after significant use allows all the parts to settle in. The Judgement hardened steel sear set is utterly indectructible and the Fang trigger in Vampire pattern brings the style in-line with the rest of the build. Expect a trigger tip travel of just 2mm to fire with minimal over-travel. These mechs have no safety catch as it is removed to fit the lever-action kit. The rear face of the trigger guard has also been sanded and smoothed to better fit the BCO lever action, making racking the gun super smooth and pleasurable.

Tuning and Setup

This gun will have around 1000 shots through it to make sure it is shooting to our exacting standards of accuracy and consistency before it is shipped. This includes range testing, which you can request scope-cam video of if you like, though this will delay the delivery as we have to edit the videos. The goal is at least 70% accuracy at 80m, providing repeatable consistency and excellent range. The gun will be tested exclusively on CO2 magazines as the weather is now too cold to use green gas. We only recommend CO2 magazines.

Case

All our custom builds are shipped in a high-quality American-brand Plano plastic hardcase with crush-protection pillars.

What's In The Box?

This build is not supplied with a scope. The optics setup in the pictures cost over £1000 and is just for representation in the photos. If you like, we can supply and zero a suitable optics setup with this rifle to meet your budget needs. This is much better than trying to do it yourself afterwards, as we can zero the scope and tune the hop to match the scope setup. Please drop us a message if you want to discuss this option.

This build is not supplied with any magazines or HPA equipment, except for the 1 short curved green gas mag that came in the factory box with the KC-02, though we do not recommend using that.

You will receive the rifle as described above, as well all the small bits and accessories that normally come with each of the upgrades such as spare springs, power screws, hop kings, flow restrictors, etc.

You also receive the orginal parts from the boxed KC-02 used as the base gun for this build.

There is an optional high-quality carbon bipod available to ship with this build, you can select that option from the drop-down menu at the top of this page. We've been using this bipod with this stock for quite some time, it suits the chonky style of the B&C stock, and gives it a very stable and adaptable platform to shoot from. We highly recommend use of a bipod when tryng to make extreme-range shots.

Basic Stats

The Bloodlust build without mag or scope weighs 2.8kg. It is not a "lightweight" build due to the chunky target stock, but still very comfortable to use and carry.

With the HIVE suppressor fitted, and the stock partially extended as per the photos, the gun is 109cm long.

Without the suppressor, it is 86cm long.
